Ryan has been a boat captain since 2005. He is also a firefighter for the city and a certified EMT. He fell in love with the ʻāina while attending the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and decided to stay after graduating. In his free time, you can find him in the water or playing guitar, ukulele, and bass.

Dana was raised on Oʻahu and is a proud alumni of ʻIolani School. She got into boating because of her partner, Ryan, and has been learning how to deckhand since 2020. She enjoys curating songs for any occasion. In her free time, you can find her making vegan food or cuddling with a book in the sun.
